Michelle Obama will talk about her memoir, “Becoming,” the best-selling book of the year with 3 million copies sold in the U.S. and Canada across all formats since it was published in November. The Associated Press reports it is among the fastest-selling nonfiction books in history and already among the best-selling political memoirs of all time.

Obama, discusses in her book growing up on Chicago’s South Side in a loving extended family, building her life step by careful step as she earned a law degree. Then she met a tall, lean guy with a wide smile and a relaxed demeanor.

Barack Obama became a politician against her wishes and propelled them to the White House as the first African-American couple. When their daughters were born, Obama spent much of her time trying to give them the happiest childhood possible as daughters of a man who was often not home but loved them deeply.
